Everyone is invited to take courses through the International Metaphysical University. You can choose to take courses for your own personal development (non-degree track) or you can take courses toward a degree.
IMU is an open enrollment institution, which means you do not have to have a specific GPA, college admission test score(s), or particular high school classes to be accepted. You do, however, have to have a high school diploma or general equivalency prior to receiving a degree. Students who are seeking a degree from IMU will need to submit proof of graduation or GED before receiving your degree. You may submit this paperwork at any juncture, but it must be received prior to graduation.
- STEP 1: Submit Application: Complete and submit the application from the IMU web site. As an introductory offer, the $30 application fee is waived for the first semester.
- STEP 2: Choose Your Classes. Go to the curriculum section of the IMU website and find the appropriate program schedule there. Copy and paste or print the Curriculum Summary Sheet to use as a guideline for registering for the appropriate courses. You'll need to check the current course schedule to see which courses are available. If you have questions or need guidance, we invite you to call IMU and talk to a student advisor.
- STEP 3: Register for Classes. Once you have decided which courses to take, purchase your courses. While a full course load includes 5 courses, you may take as few as one or as many as 8. At a pace of five courses per quarter, you can finish your Associates degree in as little as one year. Courses are 12-weeks in length.
